Union Street Technologies recently held its inaugural golf day at Moor Park golf club in Rickmansworth near Watford. The event was attended by 34 of Union Street’s channel partners. Prizes were sponsored courtesy of TalkTalk Business, and included an iPad for best stableford score, an iWatch for nearest the pin, a Sonos sound system for Longest Drive and bottles of Laurent Perrier champagne for each member of the winning team.
With a score of 35 points, Phil Coley, Director of Yorkshire based communications provider, Duocall, won the prize for best score and also scooped the prize for longest drive. Thanks to a remarkable shot on the course’s 18th green, Ben Turner, Customer Service Manager for Premier Choice Telecom, took home the prize for nearest the pin.
Situated amidst 300 acres of mature woodland and finest Hertfordshire parkland, Moor Park Golf Club is famed not only for its two championship golf courses, but also for the imposing 17th century Mansion House which acts as its clubhouse. Union Street’s guests played the club’s High Course, a 6717 yard course which over the years has played host to several championship events.
Speaking on the event, Vincent Disneur, Head of Sales and Marketing for Union Street said, “On behalf of myself and the Union Street team, I’d like to say a big thank you to all our channel partners for joining us and for making this such an enjoyable event. Thanks also go to TalkTalk Business for their very generous prize sponsorship and to the team at Moor Park for managing the day with such expert precision.”
