Union Street Technologies, has appointed Stephanie Dempsey as Marketing and Events Consultant. In this newly created position, Dempsey will be assisting with development of the company’s online engagement and other digital marketing activities. In addition, Dempsey will manage the company’s events programme, including Union Street’s upcoming ‘Streets Ahead’ Roadshow which will see Union Street’s team calling at Glasgow, Newcastle, Bristol and London, to provide guests with information on new products and advice for optimising efficiency and profitability in their billing operations.
Dempsey comes with a wealth of experience in this area having worked in corporate marketing and events for over 15 years. Most recently Dempsey held the position of Operations Director for BPL Business Media, the company behind leading channel publication, Comms Dealer, and events such as Comms Vision and Margin in Voice and Data. This experience makes Dempsey well placed to oversee the continued expansion of the company’s marketing and events operations.
Commenting on her appointment, Dempsey states, “I’m very pleased to have joined Union Street and look forward both to working with the channel’s leading provider of billing software, and to assisting with the company’s continued growth. A big part of my role will be developing Union Street’s channels for online marketing with the ultimate goal of making it easier for resellers to make enquiries, interact and open dialogues with the company online. I will also be working to help take the company’s events programme to the next level.”
