Streets Ahead Roadshow Heads North

7th June 2017  by Gareth

Union Street, recently held the opening leg of its Streets Ahead Roadshow. Starting at Glasgow’s elegant Grand Central Hotel before calling at Newcastle’s Crowne Plaza the following day, the roadshow provided many of Union Street’s partners in the North of England and Scotland with demonstrations of the latest functionality available in the company’s award winning aBILLity billing platform. This included a look at aBILLity’s new web browser interface.

Following arrival and a networking lunch, guests were provided with a glimpse of Union Street’s development roadmap, tips on how to use aBILLity to achieve optimal profitability and information on how Union Street’s APIs can be used to integrate its software with other back office solutions. In addition, Union Street’s team used the event to showcase aBILLity’s new hosted environment which has been built from the ground up using Microsoft’s Azure public cloud. Each event closed with a drinks reception and the chance for guests to have an informal chat with Union Street’s team over drinks and canapés.

Head of Sales and Marketing, Vincent Disneur, comments, “The objective of our roadshow is to demonstrate for our partners why we are ‘Streets Ahead’ of the competition. It was great to share information on what we’ve been working on, what’s coming soon and how our software can be used to boost profitability and productivity. The enthusiasm and positive feedback we received from guests was really encouraging and a great endorsement of our roadmap. We’re already looking forward to visiting Bristol and London next month for the Southern leg of the roadshow.”
