Union Street moves for success

16th April 2013  by Gareth

Union Street Technologies, the leading supplier of comms billing solutions, has moved its headquarters to ‘The Courtyard’ a 6000 square foot site in central Richmond, Surrey. Following an extensive programme of refurbishment The Courtyard will feature two and a half times the floor space of Union Street’s previous office, providing much needed room for the company’s rapidly growing head count.

Since 2007 Union Street’s staff levels have nearly quadrupled as the company has recruited personnel across all areas of the business to support its growing customer base. This expansion has included numerous appointments in both Union Street’s first and second line support teams, research and development team, and in field teams that provide training and consultancy at customers’ premises.
In addition to larger working areas for staff, The Courtyard’s increased space will also feature numerous benefits to Union Street’s customers such as customer meeting rooms, parking and spacious training and demonstration facilities.
Tony Cook, Managing Director for Union Street, commented, “This move is a significant milestone for our company and represents a great deal of hard work, determination and dedication from everyone at Union Street. But although we’re very proud of what we’ve achieved to get here we have no intention of resting on our laurels. This move is just the beginning of what’s to come.
“At our new site we have created the ideal environment to provide the greatest levels of support and consultancy to our customers, whilst continuing to develop the pioneering software that has made us so successful. With a number of new products already on the horizon, you can be sure that there’s a lot more to come from Union Street.”
