Union Street Technologies has celebrated a victory at the CDSMAs (Comms Dealer Sales and Marketing Awards) by winning the Vendor Channel Sales Team of the Year Award. The telecoms billing software specialist won the accolade in recognition of the outstanding achievements of its business development team led by Head of New Business, Brett Harvey.
Streamed live from London by leading industry publication, Comms Dealer, the Awards were held on the 10th of December as a virtual event due to ongoing health concerns caused by Covid-19. Awards co-ordinator, Nigel Sergent, commented prior to the event, “We were unable to run the CDSMAs in the spring due to Covid-19, but we could not let the success of the channel’s hardworking sales and marketing teams go unrewarded, so we’re going to broadcast the awards live from London in the same way we ran the Comms Nationals.”
As one of the most prestigious events in the telecoms channel, the awards are highly prized and competition is fierce. In addition to winning the Vendor Channel Sales Team of the Year award, Union Street also achieved ‘Highly Commended’ for its entry in the Marketing Campaign of the Year category.
Our very own Managing Director, Vincent Disneur, was able to attend the celebrations to present Lily Comms with the award for Reseller Sales Team of the Year – Small to Medium.
Following Union Street’s victory at the CDSMAs, Vincent wrote in a post on LinkedIn, “What a year. I’m sure you agree that it is important we focus on the positive. On that note, I’m extremely proud of the Union Street Technologies Ltd Sales & Customer Success team for winning the ‘2020 Vendor Channel Sales Team of the year’.
“This is the third time that our team have deservedly won this highly coveted award. Hard work, team spirit and partnering with ambitious customers is a formula for success. I’m very proud.
“Sending love and wishing you a Merry Christmas. Let’s stay safe and see each other face to face in 2021.”
This victory at the CDSMAs came at an excellent time with Union Street’s double win at the CNAs two months prior.
